Common questions
How do I play with a friend?
Go to Play online, choose New game and make it private. You get a room code to send; your friend enters it under Enter a code.
Is Dama King free?
Yes on the web, with every feature: AI practice, online games, ranked matches, private rooms, puzzles and lessons. The iOS app is a one-time purchase that supports development.
How does the rating work?
Ranked games use an Elo-style rating. You start at 1000 and gain or lose points with each ranked result; beating a higher-rated player earns more. Guests can play, but only accounts are rated.
Can I play without an account?
Yes. Play as a guest with one tap. An account keeps your rating, history and puzzle progress across devices, and you can upgrade a guest to an account at any time from Settings.
What are the rules of Filipino dama?
Captures are mandatory, you must take the majority capture, and kings fly along the diagonals. The seven lessons put each rule on a board you can move, and the Damath rules cover the school variant.
